Michel, this is already reported:

Ah, okay, good.
I was not aware a bug had been logged already though. I just logged one after sending the email below after I realized that it was probably better to log a bug than send another email to you guys. This is Bug #11668: Error 404 - document not found for I18N_UnicodeNormalizer. Feel free to close this one or the other.
Thanks,
MC

The requested document /package/I18N_UnicodeNormalizer/docs/latest/ was not
found on this

phpDocumentor fails:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 268435456 bytes exhausted (tried to
allocate 35 bytes) in
/usr/local/lib/php/PhpDocumentor/phpDocumentor/phpDocumentorTWordParser.inc
on line 259

Is I18N_UnicodeNormalizer really that large?

FWIW, I upgraded phpDocumentor to the recently released version 1.4.0
and have re-schedulded the build process for I18N_UnicodeNormalizer
1.0.0 RC3. I'll report back if this leads to success.

No luck. It still fails because I18N_UnicodeNormalizer tricks
phpDocumentor into consuming more than 256 MB of memory.

Michel, have you tried running phpDocumentor on the source code
yourself? Does it work for you? Anyone else?

Hi Martin

Thanks for getting back to me. It does work for me btw.
Here is what I think is happening (please, correct me if I am wrong). The package needs data stored in very large PHP array in the data directory. I suspect that PHPDocumentor crashes as it tries to tokenize them. I have had the same issues with the validator (and also PhPUnit with Xdebug). So that is why I have to move those files in the data directory during the PEAR install process. I would recommend that during the doc generation process, you either exclude files larger that 100KB for example, or exclude the data directory. You should probably also exclude the tests directory btw.
Makes sense?
