Hi all,

I fixed a bad bug that caused pearweb manual notes system to accept any
notes if cookies are disabled - this is the reason we're getting spam
currently.

Strangely, I am getting very weird error messages from pear when doing
"pear package". (http://tmp.cweiske.de/pearweb-pear-package.log)

So could please somebody release the package?

Hi,

We can't just push out a release one two and three, you have to commit this
to an older branch but since we only use tags then you have to checkout the
last tag, 1.16.3, add your fix and see if you can't roll that, we can't at
least not roll the head just yet, luckily we're at the end of this release
cycle so 1.17 will happen soon, I hope, but what I said above in regards to
the tags is the normal way to do it I guess.

Does anyone thing we should start branching on each feature release ? I
don't but since we're having this discussion anyway then it's just as good
to hear what everyone else has to say about it.

P.S.
Christian I can perhaps do that release for you in need be, will talk to you
in the next couple of days.
