Dear Team.

I aplogise if this is directed to the wrong person/s and if that is the case would someone please pass it along for me..

I downloaded this file as it is exactly what I am needing to make xml playlists form my mp3player om my pfp forum. My difficulty lies in my being a beginner with very little experience in php. I don't seem to be able to open this downloaded file in order to install anything. How does one open a Tar file? What utilities do I need in order to do so. I would greatly appreciate any helpful information you could give me..

Thank you in anticipation. Sincerely. Don Ellerton.

I assume you're using Windows, are you? In this case you can use
http://gnuwin32.sourceforge.net/packages/gtar.htm to unpack Tar files.
We do however provide an automated installation infrastructure so
that ideally you'll never need to worry about what file format PEAR
packages use. Please see
http://pear.php.net/manual/en/installation.php and
http://pear.php.net/manual/en/guide.users.commandline.cli.php for
details.
